Dewey's Readathon Wrapup/Closing Survey

 Closing Survey:

How would you assess your reading overall?
I started out really well and read pretty much from 7am to 3pm with little breaks for food and my puppies. At 3 I had to take my son in for his first Covid shot - and it was about a 40 minute drive so we stopped and picked up dinner on the way home. Started back up reading at about 5 and read until almost midnight. At midnight I thought I would take a two hour nap - which turned into a 4 hour nap. I got up and read for another 30 minutes and then sacked out for the rest of the night.
Did you have a strategy, and if so, did you stick to it?
I had no strategy - just thought I would take the day as it came.
What was your favorite snack?
Chocolate covered nutter butter cookies.
Wanna volunteer for our next event?
No. I appreciate what everyone does, but I just like to be able to devote the day to reading.

I ended up reading about 800 pages and listening to about 6 chapters between my two audio books. I finished 3 books - First Grave on the Right, Truly Madly Deadly and Such a Fun Age. Such a Fun Age was probably my favorite of the day.

I also started Convenience Store Woman and Creatures and read a little of both.
