Where are you? 4-28-2009

I am an American visiting the Scottish Highlands - but not just any American. I am an American werewolf. I am finally meeting the rest of my pack, or family, the MacInnes at Iargail, our family home. (Wild Highland Magic by Kendra Leigh Castle)

Where are you? 4-21-2009

I am at the home of Lucius Malfoy - it is a meeting of the DeathEaters with Lord Voldemort. Severus Snape has just told us when they are going to move Harry Potter! (I have just started reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling!)

Where are you? 4-14-2009

I have just been in to meet with my pastor and my boss. He has "recommended" that I take a sabbatical with my family to let the press die down. See, I was shot in the chest by a parishioner who claimed that I had tried to rape her, when in actuality it was because I had rebuked her. My wife is struggling with believing that I was not having an affair. (Fatal Illusions by Adam Blumer)

Where are You? 4-7-2009

I am on my currently relaxing on Seth's couch while he tries to make a concoction so that he can see the faeries that I see. I am trying to stay calm, as I have agreed to go to a carnival with Keenan, a faery. He does not know that I know he is a faery though. I am trying to find out what they want with me!

Where Are You? 3-31-2009

I have gone to visit my friend at Darkefell Castle. She has written to me to tell me there are strange things going on - and has hinted at there being a werewolf! It is strange alright - the evening I arrived, there was no carriage to transport me to the castle! I had to walk, in the dark, and managed to stumble over a dead body! (Lady Anne and the Howl in the Dark by Donna Lea Simpson)

Where Are You? 3-10-2009

I am in San Francisco and have just found out that my father is dead. I know this because the scroll has been delivered to me. I am now The Guardian. I can already feel tu ch'i pulsing inside of me. I will need to learn how to control it if I am to survive. (Marked By Passion - Kate Perry)

Where Are You? 2-24-2009

I have just arrived at Hogwart's for my 6th year. Snape is going to be our new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher! This is horrible, I thought that I would not have to have him for a teacher again. The good news is that I got into Potions with my O.W.L. grade- I thought I was done with Potions but I need it if I want to be an Aurer! (of course this is Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince)

Where Are You? 2-17-2009

I am currently on a plane leaving South Korea - it is the country from whence I came, but I remember nothing of it - I cannot even speak the language. Olivier, my companion and lover is with me - we are now on our way to Hong Kong for Olivier's business. (From Trail of Crumbs by Kim Sunee)

Where are You? 2-10-2009

I am living somewhere near an ocean - and have just started taking care of my blind seven-year-old nephew, Scotty. It is almost Thanksgiving and we are going to my parents house with Scotty's tutor, John, for the holiday. I am attracted to John, even though he is agnostic and I am determined to live my life for Christ. (John's Quest ~ Cecelia Dowdy)

Where are You? 1-27-2009

I have just arrived at Grumble Knot, a home (if you can call it that) which I have inherited from my mother, in rural Pennsylvania. I always thought that I would sell this place, but at this point in my life, am glad that I have somewhere that I can go. (From Simple Wishes by Lily Dale)

Where are you? 1-20-09

I am at Camp Green Lake, which really isn't a camp - and there is no lake in sight. It is a boys' dentention center where I get to spend every day digging holes on what used to be the lake. I have been digging holes for so many days that I don't even know what day of the week it is! And the heat - Whew! I am supposed to be here for 18 months and am hoping that the weather will cool off... maybe in December! (Holes by Louis Sachar)

The car that I am a passenger in has just crashed through a guardrail into a lake. The car is filling up with water quickly, I cannot even remember who I was with and I can't figure out why I cannot get free. (Black Water by Joyce Carol Oates)

Where are You?

I am in the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve in Costa Rica. I am learning what it takes to start a new community and make it self-sustaining. We have to do everything from clear the land, establish a water supply, start new businesses (like a cheese factory) to provide income for the community, work our dairy farms and raise pigs! Of course I am Walking with Wolf. (From Walking with Wolf by Kay Chornook and Wolf Guindon)

Where are You?

I am in England during the reign of Henry VIII. Henry is trying to make me his mistress - but I continue to refuse. It is against God to have sex before marriage, so if King Henry wants me, then he must make me his wife! - In the Shadow of Lions by Ginger Garrett.

I am in Toronto in the present day - and for the third night in a row, I am trying to find some place for my brother and I to sleep. Our uncle failed to meet our train and we have not been able to locate him. The only person I know is a college girl who gave me a tour the year before and she is no longer willing to let us crash in her dorm.

Where are You?

I am in Turtle Creek at my family's newspaper office. We have just finished our Christmas celebration and the weather is starting to take a turn for the worse. I have sent up a prayer for a new editor when Joe walks in from the cold.

Where Are You?

Where are you?

It is May, 1995, and I am a sophomore at Fuller Theological Seminary's Graduate School of Psychology in southern California. I just found out that my girlfriend is really a lesbian and that my roommate has been dealing with the same feelings of emptiness and not belonging anywhere also. So for the second time in one night, after months of not talking with God - I am beginning the conversation again.

I am in the Republic of Gilead (which is somewhere in the U.S. in the future). The Commander has called me privately to his office - but it is illegal for us to be alone together. If anyone sees me, then I will have to suffer the punishments of the Commander's wife. My curiousity has won out though, as I am desperate for any connection to my life "before".

Where are you?

Where are you?

I am in Duma Key, Florida at Heron's Roost, a house at the south end of the island. It is infested with ghosts of lawn jockeys, upside down flying herons, and the occasional frog the size of a labrador. Of course, I am reading Duma Key by Stephen King.
