It's Monday! What are you reading? (Aug 16, 2010)

What are you reading on Mondays is hosted by Sheila at One Person's Journey - You can hook up with the Mr. Linky there with your own post - but be sure and let me know what you are reading too!

Well, due to a migraine I missed last weeks It's Monday post.  It threw a curve ball into my entire week and don't feel like I got much reading done at all!  Definitely am behind on some reviews!  (Though I did manage to get some new giveaways up!)  I am way behind on my reading and hope to catch up with that soon also!

Currently Reading:
Maid of Murder by Amanda Flower - Cozy mystery that is good so far.
The Hanging Tree by Bryan Gruley - haven't read any in this for awhile, but hope to get back to it soon!
I Love this Bar by Carolyn Brown - missing book that my mom found in her suitcase!
The Little Giant of Aberdeen County by Tiffany Baker - Good book, but it is going to be shelved for awhile until I get caught up.
Roseflower Creek by Jackie Lee Miles - promising start - Hope to get back to it soon!
Lowcountry Summer by Dorothea Benton Frank - I am going to put this one away for awhile as it just isn't jiving with me right now.

Bathroom Book:
Holly's Inbox: Scandal in the City by Holly Denham - another book written entirely in emails. Very funny!

Audio Book:
The Scarecrow by Michael Connelly - Figure I am not going to have time for any audio books again until school starts!

New this week:
Solitary by Travis Thrasher
Hell, Yeah by Carolyn Brown
Seduced by a Wolf by Terry Spear
Amish Proverbs by Suzanne Woods

Heart of My Heart by Kristin Armstrong
Meet Me in Dreamland: A Lu-Chu and Lena Book by Steven McKinney, Valerie McKinney

I am interested in Holly's Inbox. I also have a confession for you. I pick on your bathroom book, find it HILARIOUS- and then the other morning I was brushing my teeth while listening to The Passage in Audio and realized.... I have a bathroom audio. My IPOD has been in my bathroom for months now sitting in its little speaker box so whenever I shower, fix my hair, put on make up or brush my teeth - I pop it on and listen while I prepare for my day.

Gulp.

I feel so much better confessing that I have an bathroom audio. :D

I hear you on migraines. I am sorry you were down last Monday with one. We read a lot of the same books. I look forward to your review of Forget You, although it may confirm I am the only one who did not think it wonderful. Have a great week! Sorry you were feeling poorly. It's funny, I used to get terrible migraines before my accident and have only had a couple of normal headaches since then. I don't recommend crashing a vehicle to get rid of migraines, but think it is interesting. Maybe God thinks I have enough to deal with but there is another womanly problem I wish He thought I didn't need either. lol OK I know TMI!!

I have wanted to read Maid of Murder since I first heard about it.

happy reading!!
