Everyone else in the arena is leaving, but he claps on, tears of pride in his
eyes for Rayne O'Connor. He thrusts a hand up toward her. Suddenly in his finger
- a single white rose wrapped in green cellophane and tied with a red ribbon.

Here's my fifth(and more) sentence: "In any event, after nine years the Templar knights returned straight away to Europe, where they were received by royalty all over the continent. No, nobody is certain what they found in the Temple ruins. But whatever it was, it was the springboard for this small order of monks to become the most powerful and wealthy force in Europe, even more so than the Church."
