Where are you? 4-21-2009

I am at the home of Lucius Malfoy - it is a meeting of the DeathEaters with Lord Voldemort. Severus Snape has just told us when they are going to move Harry Potter! (I have just started reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling!)

I have just started this series in audio and absolutely LOVE it (I have never been much of a fantasy fiction fan -- which is why I have avoided Harry Potter in the past). I am now listening to book 2. Perhaps I will be able to finish the series by the end of summer :)

We watched the first HP movie on Saturday, I'd forgotten how good it was. Enjoy the last book, I stayed up til the middle of the night (technically I guess it was early morning) to finish reading Deathly Hallows. I was going so fast, I should probably go back and let more of it sink in.

I may be the last person left alive in the world to have NOT read a Harry Potter book. I know - there is something wrong with me. I even like the teasers but can't start the book. Sorry.

Those Harry Potter books are a pure joy to read! I grabbed the first one off the shelf of a local bookstore because I thought the cover was interesting. (This was way before the sweeping popularity). Reading it reminded me of the fun you can have inhabiting a fantasy world. I lent that book to all my adult friends who loved it. And finally last year my hubby decides he's going to see what they are "all about" and wanted to know why "I didn't nag him" to read the series because he thought they were great! The last book was amazing!

Oh, how I loved this book. I sure miss this series. I'm going to have to reread them one of these days.
