Welcome to What's Happening Wednesdays?
I always have things going on during the week - or things going on with my kids - just stuff that I think I should post - but never seem to have anywhere to post it! I would love it if others would do posts about whatever is going on with them that they want to share - whether it be a gripe or good news - it will all be welcome here!
Ok - who can't believe that it is June already? I am still recuperating from my drive to Iowa and back on Sunday, but it has been a lot of fun having my mom here! Both girls have been out of school about a week, but yesterday was my son's last day. We went to his class concert last night. As usual, as soon as he saw that we were filming it, he stopped singing. He did forget once in awhile and join in - but would quickly stop if he looked our way!
The baby birds from last week have flown away - I actually saw one take off from the nest. I don't know if it was it's first flight, but I like to say it was!
There is ongoing drama with Colby, my schnauzer. Her other eye is clearing up a little, but now the pressure is starting to build. The eyedrop that they had her on can cause this though, so they don't know if this is pre-glaucoma or just medication related. Regardless, she is now on 3 eyedrops and I get to take her in again next Tuesday!
Today the rain held off long enough for us to have a new swingset installed in the backyard! My son calls it a playground! He held off for quite awhile while they were installing it - but when the slide went up he had to start using it. Thankfully all they had left at that time was the rock wall and the "roof". I think this will definitely give me some reading time this summer!
