The Husband Project Giveaway

I have one copy of The Husband Project to give away courtesy of the author Kathi Lipp. Thanks Kathi!

I had every intention of starting this "project" myself this month - but I haven't had a chance to read through the book and take notes on what my plan/projects would be. I am going to revise my schedule and try to start it on Sept 1. I also don't have anyone right now to hold me accountable, so I am praying as to who that should be! But I still wanted to offer the extra copy up as a giveaway this month. So from now until Aug 23 tell me how your husband or significant other lets you know they love you! That's all you have to do to enter - and leave your email address. Only one entry per person - and US only.

My husband makes a big deal of Christmas and my birthday-I love celebrating both and he always makes it special for me. He will often times work out with me even though I run/bike slower.

thanks

My husband makes sure we get a date night every week (with four kids that can be hectic), he buys me diet cokes even though he thinks they're bad for me, he tells me I'm beautiful even when I'm totally disgusting and he even watches Colin Firth movies with me (at true act of love since he can't stand CF).

My husband of 37 years puts up with me patiently, and does little things without being told to show he is thinking of me, like bringing me home my favorite Starbucks while he is out running errands...or mailing books for me so I don't have to trudge to the post office...little acts of kindness :D

We've been married for 32 years. My husband does the laundry and fills and empties the dishwasher, among many other things to show his love for me. He is wonderful. I am reminded of the Mr. Roger's song- "There Are Many Ways to Say I Love You"!

My husband makes a point to understand me. He's always watching my reactions and does things that he knows make me happy. When I feel all stressed out, he takes over and lets me take a breather. He also tells me he loves me all the time.

My husband is the greatest. He let's me know how much he loves me...in so many ways.
1. He never expects me to get up and make him breakfast, as I have sleep disorders and he knows how precious sleep is to me.
2. He always tells me how wonderful dinner is - even if he doesn't really like what I made.
3. He never complains about how I spend the money that he works hard to make.
4. He emails me several times a day, to tell me that he loves me.
5. He has never complained about my constant weight gain over the last 36 years.

Shall I go on?

6.He doesn't like animals, but helps me to take care of our two aging dogs...and doesn't bat an eye, at our many emergency trips to the vet.
7. He cleans up after himself.
8. He always remembers to put the toilet seat back down.
9. He holds my purse while I try on clothes at the store.
10. He bought me a laptop, so that I could spend my days entering lovely contests like yours!

My husband supports me in whatever I do, even if he doesn't quite get it, like blogging. He also cooks dinner a couple of times a week. He's also great at back rubs.

What a great idea of a book!

My husband is always there in a pinch - if I run out of gas, etc. And he's a great problem-solver, every time.

By stopping by my house on his way to work to clean ice off my car and shovel my walkway---I leave as early as 6am some mornings, without fail when I step out the door these chores have been performed.

My husband isn't the type to say "I love you" all the time. But he always tells me how much he loves me through his actions. He works hard for us, comes home & is a great dad, never misses our childrens' swim meets, fixes things around the house and is all-around there for me when I need him!

My husband and I have been married for almost 39 years! Many would think of our marriage as the old fashioned kind as I do all the cooking and cleaning, and help with the yard work. But, he provides most of the household income.

My husband buys little surprises for me and sends me flowers when I least expect them. He also seems to know when I am too tired to cook and takes me out to dinner!

He likes to make Christmas, anniversaries, and birthdays special, just like I do. I wanted a cockatiel for many years but hubby kept saying we didn't need a bird (we have several pets already). But, a couple of years ago, he surprised me by taking me to a pet store to pick out a cockatiel for our anniversary. "Pete", the cockatiel, is a member of our family now. The pet store owner later told me that my husband had visited the store several times that week!

My husband and I have been married ten years and we met online!
He makes a big deal out of my birthday, anniversary and Christmas and buys me great jewelry!
My husband watches me when watching movies, he says he's fascinated how I get right into the movie and loves to see my expressions! LOL
He cooks a lot and doesn't mind helping with laundry. He hates doing grocery shopping so I do that but he will unload the bags!

My husband's very sweet, especially when I'm not feeling well or had a bad day. He makes an effort to talk or spend time no matter how tired he is after work. Plus, he doesn't complain much when he helps clean (he's better at it than I am).

My husband is fantastic. He always helps around the house, and makes me and our boys his #1 priority. He always says I love you when we talk on the phone---even when his coworkers tease him.

We broke our coffee pot about two years ago, and I have yet to buy another. Every day since my husband has gotten up earlier then me, so that he can buy me a cup of coffee--and he makes fixes it exactly as I like it. He's also let me turn our den into a library. He's a catch. I know.

My husband never complains about any money I spend. He trusts me to make the right decisions and is patient with me when I am "moody"! He likes to surprise me with special little gifts. He loves me very much and I love him very much too!
