Giveaway of FOXY by Pam Grier

Foxy: My Life in Three Acts
by Pam Grier

Beautiful, bold, and bad, Pam Grier burst onto the movie scene in the 1970s, setting the screen on fire and forever changing the country's view of African American actresses. With a killer attitude and body to match, Grier became the ultimate fantasy of men everywhere. But she quickly proved that she was more than just a desirable film goddess. She had the brains, courage, and tenacity to sustain a career that would span more than 30 years. In FOXY, she chronicles the good, bad, and steamy highlights in her life and career.

I was little during the 70's but what I remember most are my plaid bell bottoms that were grranimals. There wan a tag on the top and bottom. You had to look for matching tags to know how your outfit went together:) And Charlie's Angels!! That was the best tv show!

I wasn't born until 1978 so I can't say I really remember anything at all. Ask me about the 80s and I can tell you lots :)

I do know that Disco was bit in the 70s.

The 70's were the happiest years of my life. I graduated from high school and college; got married; and had my daughter. I was slender and played tennis for the university that I attended. As they say, those were the good old days for me.

Sadly in my haste to enter the contest i forgot to post my email address. I would like to win this book. I like Pam Grier and her movies and would love to read her comments about those movies. I love the music of the 70's. Tavarez' Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel makes me stop in my tracks to relive those good times.

I remember 8-track tapes and record players. Console stereos & tv's that were huge and sat on the floor. TV rabbit ears & knobs to change the channel. Watching movies at the drive-in theater (Star Trek, Star Wars, Close Encounters of the Third Kind). Listening to Queen and watching Little House on the Prairie. Lots of childhood memories. :0)

Thanks!
