Welcome to What's Happening Wednesdays?
I always have things going on during the week - or things going on with my kids - just stuff that I think I should post - but never seem to have anywhere to post it! I would love it if others would do posts about whatever is going on with them that they want to share - whether it be a gripe or good news - it will all be welcome here! Come back and leave a link in the comments! Eventually I hope to get a Mr. Linky going, but that's not what's happening tonight!
To start things off - this is a late Wednesday post as I have been battling a migraine off and on for 2 days. Do you ever get one of those headaches, that just when you think you have it beat it comes roaring back? Right now it seems to have subsided so I thought I would take advantage!
I woke up this morning to this sight:
Well, this poor little dog was diagnosed with diabetes in February and had already lost sight in this eye - I immediately made her an appointment with the vet. No - she is not possessed -she now has glaucoma in that eye and I get to take her to an animal eye specialist in the morning. (I didn't think I would ever need to know there was such a thing as an animal eye specialist) The pressure in that eye is 3X greater than what it should be. . . if that can't treat it, they might have to take the eye.
Then, I had taken a picture of my son to show everyone he had his first loose tooth - he is actually pulling it down with his finger.
Only to have this not 3 hours later -
So the Tooth Fairy is going to visit him for the first time tonight.
That's what's happening in my world - what's going on in yours?

Aww, your poor little dog. It's amazing what kind of animal specialists there are these days.
Your little guy looks thrilled to be missing that tooth.
So sorry to hear about what your dog is going through. I hope your Vet can help him in some way.
As for Wednesday ... I planted several things in the garden: Butternut Squash, Tomato, and various flowers. Fixed a railing on the back deck. I last night I read some more in my current read called "Get Lucky."
Again, I hope something can be done for your dog.
Steve
