Yep - You are reading that correctly! I am a Brand Ambassador for General Hospital! I am very excited about this and hope that I can do it justice. General Hospital was the first soap that I watched - way back when I was in junior high. It was the summer of Luke and Laura and I know a lot of teen girls were hooked. I continued to watch as much as I could through high school and college. This was before SoapNet, DVR's and TiVo - so if you didn't catch it while it was on - you didn't catch it!
Over the years I did go through time periods where I would faithfully record and watch each episode as I worked full time up until 2004. My third child was born that year and I became a full-time stay-at-home-mom. Did this mean that I could now watch GH all the time? Of course not, but DVR's are a wonderful thing! I have been able to enjoy the show more than usual the last 5 years. It is amazing that instead of watching Luke and Laura, I now watch their kids Lucky and LuLu.
General Hospital has covered everything - AIDS, rape, kidnapping, serial killers, hotel fires, hostages, train crashes, and this is in addition to philandering husbands and wives, babies needing DNA tests to know their daddies, and let's not forget about the Mob!

(For the humor - not necessarily the romance!).

Hi Kristi...I'm a huge GH fan, my favorite couple has always been Luke and Laura (ah, the good old days!). Like you, I do like Tracy and Luke for comedy. Right now my favorite couples are Lulu and Dante, Spinelli and Maxie, and Sam and Jason. There are so many characters I like and dislike. I'm so glad Claudia is gone! And I could choke Helena C! lol

What exactly is a GH brand Ambassador? Do you just put stuff on your blog? I love GH but I am a late bloomer I use to watch Days of our lives growing up and it wasn't until I was in my late 20's that I picked up on GH..umm mainly because of Sonny..LOL
Fav. couples are Sonny and Carly though I also like Jax and Carly..ugh.
I liked Jason with Elizabeth though I think Sam and him fit.
I agree that Tracy and Luke are fun to watch.
Hi Sandee - I love Spinelli and Maxie too - did you see when he sang Karaoke to her? What a voice! I am glad Claudia is gone also - I liked that actress much better when she was playing Carly - but I couldn't imagine Carly played by anyone but Laura Wright now.
Jenn - I think you are remembering Stone(Michael) and Robin? And does anyone remember Stone's brother Jagger(John)? (Antonio Sabato, Jr?)I think it was great that they brought Robin back after so many years! I can still remember when she was just a little girl and Robert found out that she was his daughter.
Ladystorm - I found out about the Brand Ambassador program through Mom Central. We get to promote the show in different ways over the next few weeks. I don't like Sonny as much as I used to but am curious as to where the Sonny/Dante storyline is going to go. I am not sure why I don't like Sam with Jason, becaue I liked her when she first came on the show. . .

Hi Kristi...yes, I did see Spinelli doing kareoke. He does very well. Maxie is such a ditzy girl, but so cute and funny. I like Carly, but not too sure about Jax. And I like Sonny. Also Max and Diane...she's a character too.

The story line about aids was with
Robin and Stone, it is really nice to see Robin back on GH.
